THE WORK OF MORGAN KASTL

Writing & Design Portfolio

Home: Welcome

HI THERE

ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF

Growing up, I could always be found scribbling in a small notebook, whether it was silly doodles or long monologues. As an adult, I'm often still found scribbling in a notebook, but now it's always about the next project or idea.

I am a communication-loving professional writer, editor, and designer with dreams that often include technical writing, content creation and management, and publishing. My passion is taking complex, technical information and making it beautiful, creative, and engaging.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude with both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Professional and Technical Writing, I had the opportunity to diversify my experience in both the marketing and software fields. From editing copy for client websites to creating mockups for software applications, I've been able to build my skillset in many exciting areas, which you can see for yourself in my work and my resume.

I've recently stepped away from full-time work to soak in all the time I can with my children while they're small. However, the itch to write, edit, and design never fully goes away, which is why I'm now opening up for freelance clients.

If you're looking for help on your next project, let's chat about how I can make your life easier and your documentation or software better!

Morgan is an absolute pleasure to work with! As an employee - she's on time, never misses a deadline, is well spoken, isn't afraid to take on a challenge, and asks questions when necessary. Her professionalism and communication abilities are something I believe all employers seek. As a coworker - her positive attitude and infectious smile simply made our office a more pleasant place to be and lifted spirits just by walking in the door. If you know her already, you already know what I'm talking about. And if you don't, you're missing out. I would like to say that Morgan would be an asset to any company -- but assets depreciate over time -- she's far more valuable than that.
