NEW MEMBER PACKET
New Shelby Electric Cooperative members previously received a new member packet containing seven separate pieces. It was large, costly, and contained more information than was necessary. I used concise language, efficient design, and research to cut the packet down to one four-panel booklet, made from one sheet of paper, and two inserts.

The main goals of this packet were to:
Pare down the number of documents
Reduce material and shipping costs
Create a more aesthetically pleasing packet
Effectively and efficiently communicate important information

I was able to take full command on this project, making every decision from the size of paper to the wording used in each piece. I collaborated with the company’s lawyer, the head of member services, and various employees from the different areas described in the packet.
